I am becoming increasingly more interested in how educators can harness the power of ChatGPT to support students in designing their future.

To support other career educators and life design practitioners in this this work, Dustin Liu (Lecturer & Fellow @ Stanford University’s Life Design Studio) and I created a ChatGPT Prompting Guide for Life Design and Career Educators, which provides specific prompts educators can use to foster students’ imagination, creativity, and career exploration process.

As artificial intelligence (AI) becomes more prevalent on our campuses, we’re getting curious on how AI tools can support students as they design their lives. We recognize this is an ongoing conversation given the limitations + potential challenges of AI tools, and also recognize our duty to familiarize students with the ethical use of these tools, which are likely to be a part of their workplace landscape.
